In Grace and Truth

What could I say that would possibly change my corner of the world? Perhaps that’s the one question that keeps me from writing more than any other. And yet my heart races and even overflows with thoughts of encouragement for those within my circle of influence.

I am a Christ follower. I believe in the Scriptures, yet, daily I see them misunderstood, misrepresented, and yes, even loathed. The joy of my life is as a spectacle hung in front of the world to be mocked.

Then I am reminded of Psalm 22:7. In a prophetic word about Jesus we read: “All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads.” This Jesus who was mocked is the most loving, life-giving, most fulfilling being to ever walk the earth. The written Word He left behind is mocked today just as He was mocked when He hung on the cross. May I help you know Him better? May I help clarify some misconceptions? Journey along with me as I share my heart for Him.

I am a wife, a mother of four, a physical therapist, a small-town girl, a lover of people, and most recently, I have been overwhelmingly called to share the true message of the Jesus Christ in Grace and Truth.

I grew up on a farm near Hicksville, Ohio. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University and have been practicing Physical Therapy for over 25 years. I received my Master’s Degree in Ministry Studies and Women’s Leadership Studies from Grace College and Theological Seminary. I am a life-long student of theology and I feel called to step forward and lead.
